2010 SCHOLARSHIP AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED

 The Gov William Bradford Colony is very pleased to announce two recipients of our scholarship award this year.  Our two lovely young ladies who are Deborah Hubbard and Mariah Nichole Bernhardt each received five hundred dollars.

About a year ago Deborah found herself laid off from a career in the Engineering field.  She decided to go back to school in nursing and is presently enrolled at PTEC in the Practical Nursing program.  Upon completion of the program she plans to work in hospice or a nursing home making a difference in the quality of someone’s life.

Mariah lives in Norman, OK with her parents and brother.  After graduation she will be attending Oklahoma State University in the fall.  She plans to pursue a major in microbiology to become a doctor, a life long dream.  She has played soccer her whole life and is thinking of walking on to the OSU women’s soccer team.
